Legitimate use
You forgot the password your team set, or you need to upload to a system that rejects encrypted PDFs—and you own the file.
What you can do
- Unlock with the known password
- Produce an unencrypted copy for processing
- Re-protect later if needed
How to unlock
- Open Unlock PDF and upload the encrypted PDF.
- Enter the current password.
- Download the unlocked file.
Example: Unlock a bank statement PDF to merge it with other pages in a tool that doesn’t support encryption.
