When locking matters
Finalized policies, signed contracts, and approved specs should not be casually edited.
What you can do
- Combine locking with watermarking for “final” versions
- Align with internal document control rules
- Reduce risk of stray edits before publication
How to use
- Navigate to Lock PDF and upload your document.
- Configure options as shown (password / restrictions).
- Download the locked PDF.
Example: Lock a price list PDF during negotiation so only v2 can replace v1 deliberately.
Pro tip: Keep an unencrypted master in a secure internal drive—not in email.
